During the Soviet Union, the biggest Olympic swimming pool of Yerevan was build. It was the favorite place of Armenians, especially in hot summer. Unfortunately, after the collapse of Soviet Union the swimming pool was closed. Thus in 2002, some businessmen decided to unite and to restore the swimming pool. But the pool’s revival project supposed heavy investments, besides there had to be done changes for meeting modern demands.
After studying the global market they decided to sign a contract with worldwide largest network of fitness clubs –Gold’s Gym.

Thereby, from 2004 the construction has begun. The Aquatus Company undertook the reconstruction and the rearmament of the swimming pool.

As a result the new and revitalized swimming pool was turned into the modern and wonderful Gold’s Gym Fitness Club! It is the first Gold’s Gym Fitness Club in Armenia and in the South Caucasus.

In August 2008, the Gold’s Gym welcomed the first members, who appreciate healthy life style suggested the great variety of services.

In December 2014 Gold’s Gym Armenia opened second location in downtown Yerevan offering high quality services for members.
